This month we’ve developed a new responsive website for Vanessa Hills Legal Consultancy in Leicester.
Vanessa is a Solicitor with over 14 years of experience in the field of personal injury litigation. For over 10 years she’s specialised in complex multi-million pound catastrophic injury litigation, in particular acting on behalf of claimants who have sustained brain and spinal cord injury.
The requirements were to build an interesting, concise website with a professional image. The site is fully responsive and adapts to the screen size it’s viewed on, ranging from smart phones and tablets, up to laptops and large desktop monitors. With mobile Internet usage set to exceed that of conventional desktop usage in 2014, this was an important aspect of the project.
As with all of the websites developed at 1st WebDesigns, the individual pages have been structured in a semantic and search engine friendly manner. The design was carefully hand-coded to ensure fast load times, and to avoid “markup bloat” which many sites often suffer from.
The site was tested in over 10 different web browsers including Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari and Opera. This helps to ensure maximum compatibility for all visitors who now view web pages via an ever diverse range of browsers and devices.
